Republicans want less Government, less regulations to populate more fraudulency

Freedom is everybody wish but sometimes too much freedom comes with a heavy price to pay. Too much freedom can sometimes bring great disappointment and catastrophe. People can no longer live in a free world and expect honest and integrity. And for that reason this is where Government comes in. Government must play a major part in bringing structure to protect the people from endless of fraudulent and misuse of power.

Republicans talk about smaller Government and less regulations, but you can't help yourself but wonder why. Why are they so obsess with smaller Government and less restrictions even to the extend as to ignoring the cry of the people for jobs? I guess the information below can answer that question for the people.

Republicans don't like big Government, but they love big businesses! Why? Because Republicans will rather put back big businesses in control of the people so they can indulged in fraudulent and rip the people pocket book apart. Republicans care-less about protecting the people rights and their pocket book.

Millions of people out of work and the economy growth is slowly striving; and President Obama passed the jobs bill so long and constantly asking the Republicans to put aside their politics and work toward passing the jobs bill so that people can get back to work and in order for the economy can start growing at a faster pace. And the Republicans refused!

The Republicans kept rejecting the call to pass the jobs bill! Saying that the only plan will able job creation is smaller Government and less regulations. There was smaller Government and less regulations under the Bush's Administration and the economy still went crashing down.

So it's not about small Government, less regulation and tax break for the wealthy in order to produce a healthy growing economy, but the right policies and strategies. It is because of too little Government involvement why Wall Street and these big companies were able to indulged in so many fraudulence resulting in the economy losing it's strength and collapsed.

The point is, if big businesses can't be trusted then someone body has to step in to make correction and to protect the people well being and that is where the Government comes in! Big Government has to come in in order to solved Republicans big problems!

Columbia/HCA fraud case details

On March 19, 1997, investigators from the FBI, the Internal Revenue Service and the Department of Health and Human Services served search warrants at Columbia/HCA facilities in El Paso and on dozens of doctors with suspected ties to the company.

Following the raids, the Columbia/HCA board of directors forced Rick Scott to resign as Chairman and CEO.[20] He did paid $9.88 million in a settlement. He also left owning 10 million shares of stock worth over $350 million

In settlements reached in 2000 and 2002, Columbia/HCA plead guilty to 14 felonies and agreed to a $600+ million fine in the largest fraud settlement in US history. Columbia/HCA admitted systematically overcharging the government by claiming marketing costs as reimbursable, by striking illegal deals with home care agencies, and by filing false data about use of hospital space.

They also admitted fraudulently billing Medicare and other health programs by inflating the seriousness of diagnoses and to giving doctors partnerships in company hospitals as a kickback for the doctors referring patients to HCA.

They filed false cost reports, fraudulently billing Medicare for home health care workers, and paid kickbacks in the sale of home health agencies and to doctors to refer patients. In addition, they gave doctors "loans" never intending to be repaid, free rent, free office furniture, and free drugs from hospital pharmacies.[

In late 2002, HCA agreed to pay the U.S. government $631 million, plus interest, and pay $17.5 million to state Medicaid agencies, in addition to $250 million paid up to that point to resolve outstanding Medicare expense claims.[24] In all, civil law suits cost HCA more than $2 billion to settle, by far the largest fraud settlement in US history.

In February 2009, Scott founded Conservatives for Patients' Rights (CPR), which he said was intended to put pressure on U.S. Democrats to enact health care legislation based on free-market principles. Rick Scott want to continue ripping off the people and sky rocket health care costs in beneficial of his own pocket. That is why they want to dismantle Medicare and Medicaid and put them in free market to continue inhabiting fraudulence and ripping off the people!

Coordinating opposition to health insurance reform

In October 2009, Scott said CPR planned to remain focused on defeating the so-called "public option," a publicly-funded health insurance plan that would be affordable. He suggested to the other anti-reform groups that they each choose to focus their fire on "a single specific facet of each plan," like individual and employer mandates, "massive tax increases" or "deep cuts in Medicare.

Conservatives for Patients Rights (CPR) admits that it has undertaken a concerted effort to get people to turn out to town hall meetings nationally to protest health care reform. A spokesperson for the group, Brian Burgess, confirmed that CPR has been emailing out "town hall alert" flyers, and schedules of town hall meetings, to its mailing list. The flier calls the Public Option (a proposal for a government-sponsored, non-profit health insurance plan) "Patient Enemy #1."[5]

These efforts — combined with CPR’s efforts to enlist Tax Day Tea Party participants as reported by Talking Points Memo. offer a glimpse into how anti-reform groups are trying to create a sense of public momentum in their favor.
